This painting is also called “Just One Song”. The paintbrushes in the middle were not originally there and the composition was out of balance. It reminded me of a country song written by a friend that was too long and too complex. A trusted advisor told him, “What you have there, son, is two songs. I felt like I had two pictures and I very nearly cut it in half. But then I saw ( in my head) the extra Indian paint brushes and the painting was rescued
